The property
The property includes Palazzo Guicciardi with three bedrooms, two bathrooms with tub and shower, and in the same building but with a separate entrance, "Il Granaio di Palazzo Guicciardi" obtained from the renovation of the ancient granary, with a spacious bedroom with a large double bed (also can be set up as two single beds), a bathroom with shower, a bright kitchen with spacious dining area, a living room overlooking the loggia where a sofa bed (100x195) can accommodate another guest.
A cot for children up to 3 years can be added in the two double bedrooms of the palace and the Granary.
Palazzo Guicciardi and Il Granaio can be rented together (up to 8 adults and two children) at a special price, or separately (up to 6 guests in the palace and 4 in the Granaio).
The region
Valtellina, in northern Lombardy, near the Swiss border and less than an hour from Lake Como, is in the heart of the Alps; and the property is in the heart of the valley, in one of the most authentic and preserved villages.
You can walk along the winding streets of the village, being amazed by the beautiful stone portals of the buildings and the secret courtyards, or by the 16 churches, reaching with short walks taverns and restaurants where you can taste the real Valtellina cuisine or the most interesting reinterpretations, or the small and large cellars of the wineries, where you can taste the Eroico Rosso and other products.
